Graduate Education and the Public Good

On April 24, 2008, CGS released Graduate Education and the Public Good at a legislative forum at the Library of Congress.

At a time of increased scrutiny of higher education, this report brings into sharp focus how the U.S. graduate education system benefits our country and the world. It showcases alumni of U.S. graduate schools whose far-reaching accomplishments in the sciences, business, government, education and the arts have positively affected millions of people, worldwide. The report illustrates the value of graduate education to both the U.S. economy and our quality of life.
