The Council of Graduate Schools co-hosted the first-ever Global Summit on Graduate Education, in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The 27 participants, strategic leaders in graduate education from North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim, reached consensus on a set of principles to guide and strengthen international collaboration and advance graduate education globally by the sharing of best practices.
